Jen Hamilton is a labor and delivery nurse, NY Times bestselling author, philanthropist, influencer/content creator, and all around enjoyable person. I first came across Jen in a video where she shared how she helped support a woman during labor. I was transfixed from the first moment. She is a natural storyteller, sharing her stories with humor, heart, and compassion.

She uses her platform to lift up others, often finding people on her TikTok fyp who have tiny followings, and asking her followers to go follow them (without naming her!). Watching her community descend en masse on unsuspecting social media creators and increase their reach and viewership is so fun and uplifting. Where so many use social media to tear others down or platform division, Jen uses her platform for joy, knowledge, and uplifting others.

Her website sells a variety of merchandise, the proceeds for which sometimes go to charitable causes. For example, she is currently in the middle of a divorce and, recognizing her privilege in having the resources to separate herself from her husband, created a line of products she labeled “Sisterhood of Solidatiry,” and is donating 100% of all merchandise sale profits from both those products and her whole website through August 2026, to charities that help women leave bad situations. Within the first seven days, it was already over $120,000!

As someone who is a member of the Sisterhood of Solidatiry, having left a cheating husband when I was 21 and gotten a phoenix tattoo to celebrate the divorce’s finalization, I had to get one of the shirts with the phoenix design on the back!

In one series of videos, she challenged people to actually read what Jesus said in the Bible, which in some versions are highlighed in red text. She shared an email she received in response, in which a young man had made a song called “I Never Said That (Red Words),” and played it. I tell you, I went out and bought a copy of that song in two seconds; it was so catchy and meaningful. (You can find the video on YouTube here.)

You can also get a copy of her bestselling book, Birth Vibes. Moments from television interviews and other stops along her book tour have been priceless. Her joy is infectious. Jen is a beautiful soul who finds a way to be herself–showing strength, silliness, humility, vulnerability, expertise, and so much more.

If you aren’t following Jen on social media, you are definitely missing out on some great fun. She is one of the bright lights in the world today.
