I first discovered Midori House as a random reel on Facebook and was immediately hooked. Her voice is soothing and watching her sculpt and glaze the clay is mesmerizing. The ceremics are small and adorable, and I love that she shows her process and gives tips. I do not yet own any of her pieces, but I would love to, eventually.

I have listed her as an artist since she makes actual art, but her videos are so entertaining and information that she could easily be listed as a content creator as well. Indeed, even though I don’t have any of her pieces, I am always excited to see new videos when they drop.

She has super tiny things like mushrooms, her residents–who generally come in themes (circus, fruits, and sea of stars were recent ones), paper stars that often become keychains, larger pieces like glow-in-the-dark whale sharks, and amazing themed mancala boards (the last one was a series of pigeons that were all painted differently based on real images). Recently, she even made an playable orca ocarina.

I not only love the style of her ceramics, but what she shares about the ceramics-making process. I have learned a lot about working with clay, glazing, firing, and so on. I only recently learned that she is another artist living with a chronic illness. I really appreciate and enjoy seeing all of the artists who have found ways to create while still caring for their bodies.

Her webstore generally has stickers available all of the time. The ceramics are restocked roughly every month-and-a-half and sales are announced on her Facebook page.
